DRIVERSIDE AND AUTOMOBILE PROTECTION CORPORATION (APCO) TO PROVIDE EASYCARE DRIVERS WITH UP-TO-THE-MINUTE VEHICLE INFORMATION

DriverSide Garages Give EasyCare Drivers Access to Personal Automotive Portal for Outstanding Purchasing and Ownership Experience

SAN FRANCISCO – January 21, 2010 – DriverSide (www.driverside.com), provider of the ultimate website for car owners and the most comprehensive customer attraction and retention program for the auto industry, today announced a new pilot program with Automobile Protection Corporation (APCO) designed to further enhance the buying and ownership experience of APCO’s brand, EasyCare and their EasyCare drivers. Through this partnership, EasyCare will leverage DriverSide’s innovative industry programs to ensure that EasyCare drivers that are not currently connected with specific EasyCare dealerships are kept up-to-date on important information regarding their vehicles and their repair coverage.

DriverSide will create and offer EasyCare customers branded online “garages” to optimize the vehicle ownership experience. These garages will enable members to better manage their vehicle maintenance and ownership needs by offering features such as online service history, recall alerts, repair estimates, service reminders, free online question and answer sessions with certified mechanics, and car reviews and features from the DriverSide editorial team.  Other EasyCare services, like its Dent Repair paintless dent removal service, KeyCare key/key fob replacement coverage, and Personal Assistant 24/7 personal concierge, will also be made available through the program.  Working together, the companies are committed to helping car owners keep their vehicles on the road and getting the most out of their automobile ownership experience.

“DriverSide is an industry leader in creating and deploying customer-centric portals that are useful to the consumer and that are also fun to use,” said Larry Dorfman, CEO of APCO.  “We are thrilled to be able to bring this kind of additional benefit to our EasyCare drivers.”

“EasyCare, with its Motor Trend Recommended Best Buy designation, is the most trusted consumer brand in service contracts and related benefits,” said Jad Dunning, CEO of DriverSide. “DriverSide is excited to expand its suite of partners to include EasyCare, broadening our commitment to provide drivers with the information they need to extend the life of their vehicles.”
